Head Coach

Richard Howley is a 5* Grand Prix & Double World Cup Winner, Young Horse World Champion and currently ranked number 42 on the Longines worldwide global rankings.

Richard’s main role at Liguria Jumping is to instil the winning mindset required to maximize the rider’s potential as well as enhance rider / horse skill and connection to achieve showjumping success. 

Manager / Coach

Anna Pezzoli is a highly experienced Italian qualified showjumping and flatwork coach who has over 15 years of experience showjumping horses up to 155 class.

Most recently Anna ran her own showjumping yard in Rimini (IT) and is an expert in equine health and diet. Anna holds training qualifications with the Italian FISE, BHS and FEI.

Anna’s is the day-to-day manager of the Liguria Jumping equestrian facility which includes on-site daily coaching and full competition support in coordination with Richard.

Groom / Rider

Giulia grew up locally in Camporosso and is a highly dedicated and diligent horse carer and rider who keeps her own showjumping horse.

Nafsika has had a long passion for horses starting at an early age growing up in Greece and more recent experience at yards in Spain and Ireland.

A top class administrator who has worked with horse stables for well over a decade – solving all sorts of logistics & transport issues, competition planning, vet management and applicable riding license matters. 

An experienced caretaker who has spent many years in construction and gardening, Tonino takes expert care of the facilities including the paddocks – where the horses tend to bend things – and arenas to make sure the riding surface is at an optimal moisture content for perfect riding.
